Spaghetti and Mince… with Tomato & Basil

Serves 4 – 6


1 Packet Beef Mince

2 T Olive Oil

2 Garlic cloves

1 L Boiled Water

500g Spaghetti

1 Beef Oxo cube

1 T fresh Basil Chopped

2 Veggie stock cubes

3 Tomatoes chopped

250g Tomato Pure

Salt and Pepper to taste


Boil the spaghetti and veggie stock cubes in 1 L water (cook al dente)

In a separate pan, heat olive oil, add the mince and garlic, cook for 4 minutes.


Add beef oxo cube, and fresh tomatoes.


Lower heat to medium.

cook for 4 minutes.

add tomato pure, basil, salt and pepper.


allow to bubble, staring continuously, until it thickens slightly.


Strain any remaining liquid from the pasta.

Serve Hot.
