Vienna and Potato Stew

You will not believe how deliciously, velvety smooth this stew is, until you try it…



  • 2 Sweet Potatoes
  • 8 Baby Potatoes (Slit)
  • 1 T Butter
  • 1 – 2 T Olive Oil
  • 6 Vienna’s
  • 2 Veggie stock Cubes
  • 3 c Water
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1/4 c White Wine
  • 1 t Garam Masala
  • Salt and Pepper



  • Melt butter in oil, add all the potatoes and vienna, fry for 10 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • add water, bay leaves, and stock,  cover for 10 minutes
  • stir, add wine, garam masala, cover for 10 – 15 minutes
  • most of the sweet potatoes should have melted
  • boil till baby potatoes have cooked through
  • allow to stand for a few minutes
  • serve hot.
